North or South???

Well, NOTHING could go easy for this trip home!!! EVERYTHING that could go wrong, has! But we are fighting threw it with a smile on our face. We have to! With only a month left before Jamie leaves....we are trying to be as positive as we can. So we were going to fly home commercially, but our plans changed b/c we have to drive our car home. So we traded in both of our cars and got a 2007 Santa Fe! Which we love! It is a 7 seater, and a perfect MOM car! I will be driving that for a long time. So my step dad was going to fly me and Carson home and Jamie was going to drive with a friend, but my step dad's flight was canceled (bummer - I was looking forward to a "private VIP" flight)! But is nothing he can do about it, but it is OK...so now we are going drive home. All three of us! Carson with his screaming head and all!!!! Just kidding. Carson doesn't really like his car seat, but he will be OK. We are looking at it as our little family vacation. Going to try and enjoy it as much as we can. But now we don't know what to do. Go the same way Jamie and I can out (the south route) or drive the north route and see new things! We would go threw Yellowstone Park, see Mount Rushmore, Vegas (one more time), and Billings MT (which is where one of Jamie's best friends in the Marines is - he got out - and they haven't seen each other in 4 years, but have kept in touch - it would be awesome to see him) There are + and - to both. The north route is 42 hours long, the south route is 34 hours. We would stop more going north b/c we haven't seen that yet, but we would get home sooner going south (more time at home). We just can't decide....there is a poll on the left side, vote and let us know what you think! PLEASE!!! Thanks!!!!! Either way we will see all of you soon! In about a week! We are leaving on Tuesday! CRAZY!!!!
