I am not an English teacher, and have no intention on ever being one. I know that my writing skills are not the best. I really do proof read, but I am sorry if there are mistakes. This blog is for fun... like a journal for my kids. I just let all you in.... take it or leave it! Thanks for reading!

Finally....downtime!

Hello to everyone!!! I know you are all pretty mad at me out in California! But it has been very busy here in Kentucky. Where do I start?

We have been visiting a lot of friends and family! Not too much time at home. But....Jamie left on Tuesday for Japan. It was very sad. But they let us go back in the terminal with him, so that was very nice. It was for sure the hardest thing that I have faced in a long time! And Jamie said that it was the hardest thing for him...ever! He didn't shed any tears in front of Carson and I. But I believe they came out when he got on the plane. He sure did have a travel day from hell! He went from KY to San Diego to Seattle to Tokyo to Okinawa in about a 48 hour time span! He was dead when he finally arrived! And I have gotten to talk to him and even see him! If you guys have never heard of Skype....it is the best thing on this planet! You can talk Skype to Skype for FREE. No matter where in the world! And Jamie somehow is getting Internet service! So it is wonderful. It has been a very hard couple of days, but my Mom, Larry and friends are trying to keep me busy...but my Jamie Lee is always on my mind!!!!

As for little baby Carson! Wow he is changing! He is now a little over 6 months old and just the happiest little guy. He is such a hit in Kentucky! He went to the doctor a week ago and he was 16 pounds and 26 inches! He got his 3rd set of shots (yes I cried too) and Dr. said everything was going great! He just starting sitting up on his own early this week. And he just loves it. It is funny that when they learn a new trick they have to keep doing it...all day long! He won't even sit back in his car seat, bath tub...nothing. I am trying to feed more solids, but he just isn't interested. He sticks his hand in his mouth or wants to touch the spoon or wants to watch my mom do dishes. He doesn't really care about the food. Which is OK with me. Because it is so hot here in KY, I bought him a cup today. And tried giving him some water. I think he liked that. A little refreshing taste on these hot days!

As for me...I am doing paperwork, trying to unpack a little bit more, and trying to cope with Jamie being gone. But it is okay! Like mom says, the bad part is over, it is all down hill now! It actually feels good being home. I didn't think I would say that but it does....

If you guys didn't get my email...my email address changed - kellyjojo20@ymail.com - that one is the current one! Thanks everyone!
