Happy Birthday Boomer!

Well....on Wednesday October 8th, 2008 William Daniel "Boomer" Dirkes was born! I arrived at the hospital when MaCall was getting an epidural. She kept progressing, but couldn't get past 5cm and the baby's head wasn't dropping into the pelvic bone. So the doctor decided to do a C-section. It was crazy b/c the doctor made the decision at 5:00, by 5:15 they were taking her and at 5:46 he was born! And at that time we realized why he didn't drop....we weighed 10 lbs 3 oz and was 21 and 3 quarters inches long! He was the biggest baby the doctor ever delivered! But he is just so sweet. He has the softest skin and a perfect little button nose! Marc couldn't of done a better job taking play by play pictures of the delivery. I didn't get to stay too long after he was born b/c I had to nurse Carson. Mommy, Daddy and Baby are all doing great! Here are a few pics I got of him!
