BIG NEWS...

Well, we have some really BIG NEWS!!!! We found out last Tuesday that Jamie got orders. And not anywhere close! Okinawa, Japan! There was a big question attached to these orders: Either he goes by himself for a year, or he extends 2 years and we all live in Japan for 3 years. The thing with that, is that he would have to change jobs and there is no guarantee that he won't deploy from Japan. It was a hard choice but because Jamie doesn't want to stay in the Marines, he is going to go by himself for the year, so he don't have to extend his contract. The big part of this, is that he checks out here June 1st, and he has to be in Japan July 1st! Our lives are changing fast. Carson and I are not going to stay here in California by ourselves, that is right, we are moving back to Kentucky....I used to think I would be overly happy about this, but I am really going to miss California. I'm not ready to leave yet! I have been the happiest out here the past 3 years. It has been like a 3 year honeymoon...Really! Starting our marriage in California has just been awesome. I can't explain it any better. But we feel blessed for the past 3 years and we will always remember the GREAT memories, and the biggest of all, our friends! We have met some wonderful people out here. In the military, your friends become your family b/c that is all you have. But we are trying to be positive in this whole situation! We will get to travel the world! Carson and I are planning on going to Japan atleast twice in the next year, and we would love to go to Australia while out there. We are going to have some stories for Baby Carson when he gets older!!! So please, pray for us, it is going to be a bumpy 2 months, and a hard year being away from Daddy!!!!
