I am not an English teacher, and have no intention on ever being one. I know that my writing skills are not the best. I really do proof read, but I am sorry if there are mistakes. This blog is for fun... like a journal for my kids. I just let all you in.... take it or leave it! Thanks for reading!

What a Great Weekend :)

This past weekend is one that we will remember as a family for a long time.  Just one of those weekends where we all clicked, smiled, and enjoyed every second of it.  It was a weekend that we needed and was a long time coming!  I won't forget laying in bed Sunday night and Jamie looking at me and saying, "What a awesome weekend we had."  I agreed 100%.
Saturday was our 6 year anniversary and we stayed busy all day.   We had Olive Garden for lunch since I have been wanting it.... and we ordered one appetizer, one entree, and one bowl of salad and we shared all of it!  It was super yummy!  Next we went to Motor World, which is a go-cart / putt-putt / mini carnival.  We paid to let Carson drive his first go-cart, all by himself!!!!  It was totally worth 6 bucks!  The look on his face was priceless.... not really smiling, but concentrating so hard, with his tongue sticking out and all!  It didn't have any bumpers, and was a free for all.  He had to press the peddle an steer the car!  We were so proud of him.  When he was done, he was all smiles!!!!  Next we went Mini-Golfing (one of Carson's favorites)  The course is beautiful, it was a beautiful day, and we let Carson be in charge the whole time! :)  After Motor World, we came home and had a small "family nap."  Then off to the beach to watch the Monster Trucks!  I wasn't sure at first when my husband told me were going to watch Monster Trucks on the beach on our anniversary..... but IT WAS A BLAST!!!!!  What a show!  I am now a Monster Truck Freak and am determined to find Carson every named Monster Truck at Wal-Mart! lol  I know I think I am more obsessed than he is!  After the show we enjoyed a funnel cake and the boys got to ride on the back of a monster truck.  It wasn't the ones you race, it is designed to just give rides, but they did donuts on the beach and went over small piles of sand.  We got to walk by all the Monster Trucks and see them close up too!  It was so fun!!!
Sunday was Mother's Day.  I got 100 mini-roses!!!!  They are beautiful and are still opening up 3 days later!  And my bird feeder that I have been wanting for outside.  We all spent the whole day in our jammies :)  I love days like these.  Sometimes it is hard being away from family on Holidays, but I really am starting to enjoy our new family Traditions!  Just enjoying each other and not worrying about if I made the right side dish, if Carson's khaki pants are clean to wear, or if I saw everyone I was suppose to see that Holiday.  Yeah, holiday's are for relaxing and that is just what we do in this house!  Thanks for a wonderful weekend my love, Jamie and my handsome little man, Carson!
Sorry about photo overload, but we got so many good pics of our awesome weekend!!!!
