I am not an English teacher, and have no intention on ever being one. I know that my writing skills are not the best. I really do proof read, but I am sorry if there are mistakes. This blog is for fun... like a journal for my kids. I just let all you in.... take it or leave it! Thanks for reading!

Milestones

Yes, my baby is 3, but it doesn't mean I can't brag about him a little bit!  Today I was so excited that he starting SWINGING all by himself!  Carson LOVES to swing, and would do it all day if someone would push him!  Today he jumped on the swing and I always tell him to try, but today he just did it.... it is so funny how something just clicks in their head and just like that, they know how to do it!  Something that we have been working at for months and months.... something that I had no idea how to really "teach," all I can do is show him and try to explain how to "pull with your arms, but kick your legs too."  I mean really, does that make much sense?  But it is the only way to "say" how you swing!  We have been working on a few things, like riding a bike, swimming and swinging.  He can ride his bike and is doing better and better every time he gets on it.... but that don't take much until you take the training wheels off.  Same with swimming... he is great with the floaties, that's easy, the hard part is when you take them off.  All things come with time and it is these proud moments that make me think back to the first time is sat up by himself, first time he said "Mama," walked, or even brushed his teeth!  My little boy is growing up!  And I have to cherish these wonderful moments because soon I will be blogging about his first home run, first day of school, first girlfriend..... and first car!  Times like this, I hum the song, "Never Grow Up," by Taylor Swift and just hope that time will freeze for a few minutes!
